The Lost Learning Academy offers courses designed to provoke thought, satisfy curiosity, encourage creativity, and engage with issues of personal and communal importance. We are committed to providing a welcoming space for anyone who wants to learn, share, and engage with other curious minds on a range of topics and issues limited only by our interests and imagination. We value learning for the sake of the learner, not an institution, an employer, or an ideology. The only requirements are a willingness to actively participate, generously share ideas, and engage with others in a mutually productive dialogue that respects a diversity of viewpoints, identities, and cultural values.

We are dedicated to “finding what we’ve lost” in formal, institutional models of education–namely, the opportunity to think, learn, and grow outside of an imposed, capitalistic model of value, utility, or credentialing as a part of our mission.
